I offer various kettlebell, and strength and conditioning workshops.
Workshops are run by request and can be at a location of your choice.
Grappling/combat sport workshops
Most elite athletes are not elite lifters. This series of workshops looks at correct implementation of important movements and exercises for grappling athletes. These series of workshops will be beneficial for competitors, grapplers, personal trainers, and strength and conditioning trainers, and are run by myself and William Loebis-Arnost (Exercise Scientist, Judo black belt and BJJ blue belt).
Strength training basics for grappling
This three hour workshop covers basic movement patterns for combat sports such as deadlifting, squatting, pressing, pull and twisting exercises.
Intermediate strength training for grapplers
This builds upon movement patterns and exercises from the first level and introduces more advanced kettlebell and weightlifting exercises.
Conditioning exercises for grappling
This workshop covers a range of exercises, including basic kettlebell, rope, strongman and sled exercises for combat sports. You will learn to choose the right method for the right job, as well as strategies and programming.
Science and practice of the kettlebell swing
This three hour mini workshop covers a brief review of the science of the kettlebell swing, teaching drills and programing options.
Strength and conditioning for vertical jumping
Coming soon. This is in collaboration with Lester Ho (PhD candidate, coach and weightlifter).
